Projects

Take a look at a selection of architectural projects from my undergraduate years - each one a unique response to site, scale, and design intent.

Overlooking the Monocacy Civil War battlefield, this project explores how education can unfold across different settings — from modular classrooms and outdoor learning areas to a reflective memorial path. The design blends history, landscape, and learning to create an immersive experience rooted in place and memory

Located in DC’s vibrant U Street, this music library celebrates the area’s jazz heritage through dynamic, rhythm-inspired design. With interactive spaces, including a music room for live acoustic performances and a "speakeasy" for local events, the project creates a unique environment where music, learning, and community intersect.

Year: 2023 7 weeks / ARCH 401 Criteria: PC.2, PC.4 Civic Design

Inspired by the Irish Hunger Memorial, my Harbor Plaza design incorporates a winding path that guides visitors through moments of reflection and connection. This approach to movement and materiality fosters a dynamic experience, encouraging pause and interaction within the space.

Year: 2023 5 weeks / ARCH 400 Criteria: PC.2 Urban Design

This semester-long project involved modeling the Goatbarn Lane House in Boulder, Colorado, using Revit to accurately represent its structure and materiality. By rebuilding the house from a full set of drawings, the project tested the precision of 3D modeling while reinforcing technical skills in architectural visualization and execution.

Year: 2024 15 weeks / ARCH 472 Criteria: PC.2 Precedent Study

Located at DC’s H and 13th Streets, this project combines a newly designed plaza and civic building into a dynamic performing arts center. The building’s trapezoidal form extends toward the site, inspired by the plaza’s winding path, while an internal diagonal bridge connects the outdoor spaces. Skylights bring natural light into key areas, enhancing movement and interaction to contribute to H Street’s vibrant civic atmosphere.
